5 Things I Want to Accomplish in September

I woke up the other day feeling like I didn’t have much to do or wasn’t doing as much as I could. Pretty much not being productive to my fullest potential. So I decided, each month, I will set 5 goals for myself for me to work towards and achieve. I may not achieve them all some months (depending on the goals), some may require more work than others, and some may just be goals that I can start but take time to finish. No matter what though  I will work towards them and try my best to complete them all within that month.

Now don’t go thinking I’m going to pick some ridculous goals that can’t be achieved within a month, all goals I set will have to be achievable at some point in the near future not years from now. Ok so enough about all that, lets get to these goals:

5 goals for September

  • Practice self-care (sleeping more, eating better, etc) 😴💤

-I have a bad sleeping pattern where I go off of 3-4 hours of sleep a day/night 90% of the time. I know its not good but its how I’ve been for a long time. I only eat max 2 times a day and that is no good for me either seeing as though I’m hypoglycemic. 

  • Lose 5-10 pounds💪🏾

-We’ve all gained weight as we’ve gotten older. Mine came along with a lot of stress and depression. I want to get myself back on track and on a healthier lifestyle.

  • Reach 100 followers (or more) on my Instagram for my blog @jonesdiary (click to follow)

-Well this goal was reached and I’m so excited so I really don’t have anything to say but THANK YOU!

  • Apply for school and register for a class(es)📝📚

-I sometimes feel like my career is at a standstill and I know the only thing holding me back is going to school. I am at the point where I don’t want to apply for financial aid or loans so I would be paying for my classes out of pocket. A huge part of why I’ve delayed it so long but I’m tired.

  • Go to a show, concert, event or restuarant that I have never been to or wouldn’t normally go to. 🎼🎟 (I must post a review on it)

-I always work and hardly any play time. I used to try a new restaurant or something once a week but life took over and its been all work. Need to get back in the swing of things. 

Well these are my goals for the month of September. I think they are all achieveable for me to complete this month and nothing carry over. Wish me luck and keep me motivated!

      Awesome! Good luck on your exam, I’m sure you will ace it! Self love/care is the best. We all should do more of it, including me. I’ll check back in mid-month to see how you’re doing on these goals. 🙂
